Please reblog this if you’re a fitblr who’s online atm!

be-my-fitspo:

I only follow 700 blogs and most seem to be on at night. I wanna make it so that when I waste my time on Tumblr during the day it’s actually interesting.

Daytime fitblr! I don’t post a ton and it’s almost exclusively posts about my workout activities, thoughts/feelings, and health-related stuff. I also like interacting with other fitblrs. =3

Got a fraction of the way there and realized my feet needed a break, so I ended up going back to get my car.

But hey, I’ve almost met my walking distance goal for the month! I knew I was lowballing it anyways, but it still feels good. =]

Definitely gonna raise it for June. Maybe 40mi? I’ll probably set a running distance goal for June also, as long as the next couple weeks go well and I don’t screw up my legs. Woo!

Today’s run/walk! Zombies, RUN! mission 6: Recovery

Not much to say about today’s run except that I really need to crack down on my speed. I’m definitely pushing it too hard for my second week and it’s starting to feel in my shins/heels. Since I’m so susceptible to shin splints/plantar fasciitis, I really have to watch out for that. Even with the walking breaks, I’m pushing too hard. Eesh… Frustrating, but I’d rather force myself to ease into it and be a bit bored than hurt myself.

Okay! Off to walk to my dad’s for band practice! 2mi there and another 2 back, so I’m definitely getting my full workout in today. =)

Reblog if you're an active fitblr

  1. So I can check you out

Haha, here’s my walk from today. Basically just took the dogs out to go potty. Actually, this impromptu rest day works out perfectly because it’s kinda rainy and I loathe running in the rain. Gonna take it really easy and let my legs and back recover. Whee~

I guess this’ll do for displaying my exercise for yesterday. Mowed a cemetery with my dad for 2 hours. It probably wouldn’t have been so bad, but the mower was a piece of shit with a broken wheel. Had to hold up one side the entire time. Plus all of the maneuvering around gravestones… Exhausting! Full body workout, not even kidding. Definitely a good way to break a sweat, but certainly not a fun way. =P

Still feeling it really badly today, so I’m taking a rest day and putting my run off until tomorrow. Oof!

Hmm. Trying to think of how I can somehow make note of all the mowing I did earlier, in relation to my exercise/training tracking. I would’ve used Runkeeper, but there was too much stop-go business as I was mowing around the headstones.

Any suggestions?

Calling all fitblrs + running blogs!

autumn-runs:

I need more motivation, now that I’ve registered for my first ever race (which happens to be a half marathon, omg!), I need the motivation and encouragement to train and prepare for this thing!

So please, reblog this thing, message me (because I inevitably tend to miss a couple reblogs) and I’ll follow you!

I NEED SOME MORE RUNNER BLOGS ON MY DASH!

Where mah runblrs at?!

Total exercise from today.
Legs are quite sore, probably because I ran harder than I meant to. Should have stuck to my usual method to force myself to hold back on the pace until my muscles rebuild more: singing aloud as I run, badly and with vigor. =]

Also, trying to mentally prep myself for tomorrow morning. Shameful confession time: I have NEVER actually mowed before. Now my first mowing experience will be doing an entire cemetery. I’m sure it’ll be fun. (Or at least a decent workout. Oof.)
